ALBAWABA - A young man from South Korea has been sentenced to 14 months in prison for his disturbing act of violence against 76 cats, which started after one of them reportedly scratched his car. This verdict was handed down by the court, addressing the animal cruelty within the country.

The court's decision came down due to the gravity of the crimes committed, deeming a prison term as unavoidable as the young man was deliberate and repeated his cruel acts against animals.

The 21-year-old perpetrator was found guilty of violating South Korea's animal protection laws, shedding light on his disturbing pattern of behavior, despite his history of having them around for years before that.

Details came from the Changwon District Court depicting how the perpetrator caught cats. Some of them were stray cats, while others he adopted through online platforms.
