Authorities were searching for an inmate who escaped from the Mountain View Correctional Facility Tuesday afternoon, according to the Maine Department of Corrections.Robert Berry, 46, left his home confinement around 1 p.m. Tuesday.He was captured sometime Tuesday evening, Dover-Foxcroft police said.According to the Department of Corrections' website, Berry was convicted on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking and sentenced to 16 months.No other information was released.
