On Feb. 15 at approximately 9:30 a.m. Mendocino County sheriff’s deputies received a radio call asking for help regarding a domestic violence incident in the 42000 block of Comptche Ukiah Road in Mendocino.

When deputies arrived, they were told by a woman that she and Noah Beard were married and had children, and that she and her husband had had an argument over the last few days, during which he physically assaulted her on multiple occasions.

Deputies noticed the woman had minor visible injuries consistent with the reported physical assaults.

Deputies were unable to find Beard until Feb. 16 at approximately 8:10 a.m. At that time, deputies found Beard at the Comptche Ukiah Road residence and placed him under arrest without incident.

Beard was transported to the Mendocino County Jail and booked on felony domestic violence battery and held on $25,000 bail.
