Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio has a leg injury and will not face Malaga. He did not train on Friday and joins the club's injury list. Gareth Bale, however, did return to group training and has recovered from his latest setback.
Medical tests on Asensio suggest he will be out for between two or three weeks after suffering the problem in the Champions League against Apoel Nicosia.
Sergio Ramos trained normally, albeit wearing his new face mask after fracturing his nose against Atletico Madrid last Saturday.
