Law enforcement and corrections officials had been seeking two missing inmates from the Cedar Creek Correctional Facility near Littlerock since Saturday night. They were apprehended Sunday.
Two prison inmates who escaped over a razor-wire fence at Cedar Creek Corrections Center have been captured, law-enforcement officials say.
The inmates, identified as Richard Harvell, 30, and Sage Bear, 26, escaped Saturday night. They were captured without incident Sunday in the Capital Forest, about 6 miles north of the prison in Littlerock, Thurston County, said Washington State Department of Corrections spokesman Jeremy Barclay.
Both men were scheduled to be transferred to a state prison facility, he said.
Harvell had been convicted of unlawful possession of a firearm in Snohomish County and began serving a 44-month sentence on March 15.

His expected release date had been tentatively set for March 19, 2019.
Bear was convicted of first-degree manslaughter in King County and began serving a 130-month sentence on Jan. 27, 2009.
King County Superior Court records indicate Bear shot and killed his friend, Armin Okanovic, in 2007 while pointing what he thought was an unloaded gun at him.
Bear, who was 17 at the time, had a significant gang history and had been convicted of robbery and burglary.
He was under court order not to have a gun.
His expected release date had been tentatively set for July 9, 2018.
Cedar Creek Corrections Center houses approximately 480 minimum custody, male inmates.
