Police in New Hampshire are investigating after three dozen dogs were killed in two separate fires over the past three weeks.The fires broke out at a kennel where police said German Shepherds are bred in Bristol.Seven dogs, including two adults and five newborn puppies, were killed in the first fire three weeks ago. 29 more dogs, including three adults and 26 puppies, were killed in a fire Wednesday morning at the same place.Police executed a search warrant Wednesday and found nine dogs that were still alive.Police said a knocked-over heat lamp caused the first fire, which destroyed a home on the property. Wednesday's fire at a cottage on the property may also be related to a heat lamp, police said, but they are still investigating the cause.No charges have been filed.No people were hurt.This is a developing story.
